Not good news for Hallie.

Hallie went to the vet again today. Although she gained a little more weight the news was not good. Her blood work actually came back worse and her UA is not good. She is in progressive renal failure, which means her kidneys have to be at least 70% diseased. I'm very upset right now. But it appears things are changing quickly for little Hallie. I guess all I can do now is care for her the best I can and try to give her a good life. Or what she has left of a life. I'm just extremely upset right now.

Mods... please don't move this to Health right away. I just feel like I need more support.

I am so sorry as well. Just love her up and be sure she is comfortable. When the time comes to let her go, you will know, and she will pass knowing she was loved by you.

I'm just in tears right now because I feel so sad. Not the best thing for freshly operated on sinuses... believe me.

Oh my heart is aching for you and for sweet little Hallie. She has known nothing but love in her life, and that is something I hope can give you some comfort. I don't know her personally, but I love her from afar.

Oh no! I am so sorry. You and Hallie are in my thoughts and she will know a lot of love especially when you have been there for her.

OMG what awfull news .I am so sorry about Hallie and you , my heart is going out to you . I am sure you are heart broken right now (((((((HUGS))))))) to you . All you can do is , just be by her site and love her . Hang in there , Hallie needs you now .

Thank you everybody for your support. I was really emotional earlier. I think a lot of it was because I went to the vet positive that Hallie's bloodwork etc. was going to come back much improved and when it was worse I just crashed. I didn't think of it at first but today was exactly a month since Hallie and Jake came to live with me.

I had fun with my little Hallie Beary tonight. BTW, Hallie has many nick names. She gets called Hallie Beary, Hallie Jo, Madame Le Petite, and Hallie cat. Anyway, she came out to play and we played with the snake on a stick and she batted around a fuzzy mouse for ahwile. It was SOOOO darn cute and I laughed so hard! Then Jake pounced on her and she stood right up to him. It was hillarious seeing this little mite of a thing standing up to her BIG brother!

Awww, it must have been so cute to see her playing and standing up to Jake. I'm so sorry to hear the bad news, Tammie, keeping you and Hallie in my thoughts. Definitely the shock would be greater when you're expecting good or normal news.
