Hello kitty friends...

I'm going to make a super long story short, but just wanted to post, that Orijen Five Fish was giving my kitty loose super stinky poo!

Charli had a loose poop issue about 9 days ago or so...okay, that's where the long story is, so I won't go into it.  But for the past

week or so, she has had a completely normal poop in the morning, as usual, and then, in the evening, late evening, she was having

"cow patty" poops that stunk enough to send a skunk running.

I couldn't fig out what was going on.  I had for a really long time been giving her a few morsels of Orijen Five Fish as a treat, instead of buying actual treats, and she LOVED them.  Well, when she had the bad poop issue, she was given a little more (a.m. only) thinking maybe this would help harden things up.   Then, that evolved into her sweet talkin' my hubby, her loving dad, into giving her more....and a little more....and a little more, mornings only.

Well, cow patty poops developed, but only for a "second poop" late in the day.  For the rest of the day she has been eating Weruva chicken, which I had her on since the poo issue to calm things down.

So, long story short, the morning treats-turned-too many treats I finally figured out yesterday was the Orijen giving her the poops by the time it went through her system and she was having the loose stools at night.  Other than her breakfast time, she was only having Weruva chicken, and her morning poos the following day, perfectly normal.

Well, IT FINALLY DAWNED ON ME....it's the Orijen!!  Stopped the Orijen, stopped the issue.  Phew!

After figuring this out, I looked it up on line, turns out a lot of kitties have same issue with Orijen, and  many times much worse than what we saw here.

So, no more Orijen "treat" for her!  Just posting this, in case anyone has issues with soft poop and happen to feed their kitty Orijen.

Now I have to find a suitable "treat"....

Great news that Charli is feeling better! Sounds like you were a very good detective and were able to resolve the "poop" problem fairly easily.
