I wanna start out by saying my family is truly retarded.

Around a week ago, My brother (21 Years old) gave my male cat a sharp kick (Wearing military shoes)  Near the ribs or stomach, and my sister (20 years old) keeps on squeezing his head and shouting I LOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOOU!!!!!!! and shaking it every time she comes from university.

Now my cat is peeing all over the house (NOT SPRAYING)  We don't have any other cats. and here is a short list of what he peed on in the last 2 weeks:

My bed

Kitchen floor

Kitchen table

Microwave (Ouch)

My brother's bed

My sisters' bed

Bath tub

Washroom floor

Washroom sink

While taking a shower,

My iPad mini

His fave toy that he keeps on mating with (Another issue, please help me solve)

Top of my Wardrobe

My top bed in the Bunk bed

And the list is too long to write here.

So, now my mom wants to put him in a Shelter where they put down cats if they are aggressive (He'll be put down in 5 minutes time)

And I said no, me and my other sister. not the psycho one.

So now she wants to throw him out in the park across the road.

MY MOM IS HARSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So? any advice please... A.S.A.P.    PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Info about my cat:

Tuxedo cat (breed)

Male

Around 15 months old

Aggressive

Hyper

Sleeps on my Bed and usually gets kicked out of the room by my brother and I can't do anything about it.

Scared of strangers

Scared of stepping out of the Apartment

Almost had a Heart attack when we moved to a new one

So, this was general information, and I seriously love him, and could never cope with him being put down.

Thanks in advance.

Your cat is stressed out of his mind which is totally understandable given how many times he's kicked and squeezed.  Honestly if you can't get your brother to stop kicking your cat (and why is a grown man kicking a cat?  That's an entirely different issue all together).

Find a no kill shelter and surrender this guy so he can have a chance at having a happy and healthy home.

I seriously hope your cat was not injured by the sharp kick with military boots...I hope that didn't lead to some sort of internal medical issue.

The best option for your poor cat is to surrender him to a rescue shelter that saves animals from being put down unnecessarily like the poster above said. He is very stressed out as anyone would be if they are constantly being kicked out of a room, actually kicked, and have their head shaken all about about by some screaming person who seems crazy (to the cat).

I used to be in fear (& anger) when I was a scrawny kid of one of my much, much bigger siblings coming home to hit me after I was ordered about. I refused to "obey" or comply and it eventually ended. It's already stressful for a human...your cat is so small by comparison and doesn't even speak the same language. I hope he's not seething with fear and anger internally...if he can be in a home where he is not hit and respected properly like he should be, then he'd be so much happier and might stop peeing everywhere. You should tell your brother that he could be charged with animal abuse for kicking your cat.

I just want to add that it's great that you are trying to find advice to help solve your cat's problem of peeing everywhere. However, the problem really doesn't sound like it is your cat or at least not before he was given a sharp kick from a man wearing military boots. That would bruise and hurt even an adult human. The main problem sounds like it is your brother and his treatment of your cat and attitude towards your cat. Unless he does a 180 in how he treats your cat, it really seems best to not let any pet(s) around your brother if he is going to continue kicking them and harming them and chasing them out of your room.

To your cat, your place is his territory and he's being kicked out all the time by your brother according to your post. After getting kicked painfully, he might be peeing everywhere to mark it. That's one possibility.

Normally, I would recommend just locking him in your bedroom to give him a safe environment and a place he can escape what seems to be the massive craziness of your family.  But it seems you share a room with your brother?  Is this the kicking brother?

Also, you really need to talk to you siblings - explain why kicking, and squeezing and screaming at cats is bad for their health and try to entreat them to act nicer to your cat.  Also, tell them that if they stop these things, the cat might stop peeing on their stuff.  And see if your (not crazy?) other siblings can help treat the cat well.  I had a roomie once who kicked and threw my previous cat, Luna a few times. Luna peed on her bed and in her drawers and everywhere around the litterbox, but never on any of my stuff.  Unfortuantely...Luna's problem didn't stop till I got rid of the roomie and moved into my own apartment.

I am loathe to suggest this, but as the other posters had said - you may need to give your kitty up.  Definitely find a shelter where they won't kill him...he's still young and could probably be conditioned out of the aggression by patience, time and training.  Or, maybe you can find a home (temporary or permanent) with a friend.  I am really sorry this is happeing for you.  Soundly like a truly crummy situation.  Hope you can find a solution!
