Please help me ASAP to find my lost outdoor access cat. Answer as soon as you can.

My 2 years old male cat who has access to outside is missing for 2 days. Yesterday I wasn't at home and couldn't look for him, but today I searched for him for a long distance called his name and didn't find him. He is very big and strong cat and is used to being outside and I guiess he knows the neigborhood very well. He is not timid and can approach to other people. But I am sure something has happened with him because he is used to eating a lot and hardly could be ok for such long time without food. he is also very territorial so it would be unlikely to leave his area. Also it is very cold outside and I think there are no sourse of food there. I feel so bad that I don't know what has happened with him, I want to find him even if he is dead.  Someone with experiance please tell me would my cat go far and how far at most he can go. I want to make an extensive search today and tommoraw so I need to know what to do. Thank you in advance.
