Hi gang! Newbie to the group.. long time kitty cat Mom!
Our cat, 8 yrs old, female - broke out in a rash all over - took her to the vet, we attributed it to change in food. They gave her a cortisone shot, antibiotic shot and a steroid shot. We changed her food back to the old food and she was on the road to recovery. In the meantime, a neighbor brought fleas in our house.. we treated.. there was NEVER any on the cat, or even near her, for that matter. I bathed her in Dawn dish liquid and treated her with the flea med on the neck.
The rash went away.. no fleas.. but now her hair is falling out on her tail/butt.. and she's hiding. What is going on with her? HELP!??
