Yesterday it was 47 degrees here in Naples (SW Fl.) Much too cold for me. I even put the heat on in the house. Tippytoes curled up in bed and stayed there all day.

Today is in the high 50's and getting much better. Iknow I shouldn't complain when we see the awful weather all over the country, but I just guess these old bones can't stand the "cold" weather anymore. Thank goodness we live here.

No, you really shouldn't complain. Buffalo has it much worse than you do.

I think Buffalo has it worse than anyone.  They were supposed to get snow again today but they were hoping it would go a little south of the hardest hit areas.

Bad weather has started really early this year. Hope it's not a sign of what the rest of the winter will be like. If it is -- you're all invited to come on down here to Florida and visit us.

Minnesota here.  It's gotten cold enough that even my not so feral kitties anymore want to come into the house.

I'm originally from Upstate New York (haven't lived there in 20 years though...) where they get lake effect snow.  A LOT of people become "snow birds" up there when they retire.  It's gorgeous once snow season passes; the summers can be hot but it's not nearly as bad as where I live now.  The people who do stay up there year round are pretty accustomed to dealing with the snow; but this is so early!

It was near 50 here today; it felt balmy!
I just looked down at Mooch (she's sitting at my feet wanting dinner) and noticed her "cheeks" have come in already.  It really may be winter!
