Any ideas on what to mop floors with that's safe? I use vinegar but is there anything else? I use pine cleaner only for areas that are far out of their reach.

I love and miss you sweet angel :rub:

I use Mop 'n' Glo and other commercial floor cleaners. I figure they're safe when dry? I always lock the boys up in their room on those rare occasions I get around to mopping and let them out when it's dry.

I use Mr. Clean on the tile in the cat's room (where I keep there litter boxes, food and water).  I also figure it is safe when dry.  I feel that around the litter boxes especially, I should use an antibacterial cleaner.

On my wood floors, I use Bona cleaner.  They have a Bona cleaner for tile floors too which I use sometimes.  Bona is non-toxic.  There are a ton of "green" cleaners on the market you could try.  "Simple Green" is a nice multi-purpose cleaner, IME.

What kind of floors do you have? I use a homemade vinegar solution as well, which works beautifully on all my hard surfaces. I use it on my "fake" hardwood floors, vinyl flooring in the kitchen, Ikea dining room table, and even my kitchen countertops. I haven't really felt like I needed anything else. It does make the room a little stinky until it dries, but I put my ceiling fan on high and that helps a lot.

I have hardwood and vinyl.I cleaned a little on my doors recently and use Pinesol just for the aroma. I love pine smell.I only cleaned where they couldn't reach though.
