aunts cat terrorizes me for no reason

My aunts cat terrorizes me all the time for no reason at all. I dont pay attention to it at all.And i have never rough housed with it. I can be sitting at the table and it will randomly come on the table and start swatting its paws at me. Its chased me thru the house before. I was using the computer before and it jumped on the computer desk and started hissing at me and swatting at me. I have anxiety over cats. But somone online told me that its doing it because it senses that i fear it. Wouldnt it be fair game if i shot a cap gun and scared it when it wants to start trouble with me. I noticed the other day it was scared of the doorbell. I mean i love animals but this has gotten out of hand now with this cat. I left the other day because it decided to stalk and follow me around the house and act all shady.

I had similar problems with my exboyfriends cat. She just seemed to hate me for no reason.
When I took my own cat into the vet one day, I ask my vet why my ex's cat would hate me and the vet told me that sometimes cats who don't get to play very often will get too excited when they think someone wants to play. So maybe you're accidentally giving the cat the idea that you are playing.
Also, cats are naturally hunters. So if you act like prey, the cat will chase you like prey.
