Hello everyone! Ive decided to join as my 3 kitcats are my babies, and whenever I type in a question in the search bar, Im usually directed here! (the most recent decision being whether or not to give our Ableton a haircut or not)
Im obsessed with my cats and my job. Im a cook for the Ritz Carlton and I adore it. I also Make Jewelry in any spare time I have. Now onto the three personalities that control the household.
First is Bertil. Our tabby. we got him almost 2 years ago at a local shelter and he is the baby. He absolutely loves hairties and food. He is the peacekeeper, and a huge huge lovebug. He is also very laid back and tolerant of the humans shennanigans.
As I said, Bertil loves hairties, to the point where he sniffs them out. If i cant find one in the drawer,
i can usually find them just under a closed door where hes pushed it and cant quite reach.
Bertil also likes to indulge in Cake, Cookies, Chips and really anything else if we are willing to
share.
Look at that handsome Devil. As I said, he is also very, very tolerant.
We are currently working on the BertilBelly. If anyone has any tips on weight control with a 3
cat household, Id love to hear it.
Next on the list Is our big fluffy Ableton. We really wanted a fluffy cat. So we got one in Atlanta earlier on in the year. He growls (and also purrs) like a motorboad but has the sweetest little Meows youve ever heard. Its been really rewarding seeing him get used to us and not be such a cranky fluff. he loves his neck scratched, loved to play, and also likes to sleep on things that arent meant for him (like most cats).
Im pretty sure hes dreaming of his toy here.
"Im sure no one is looking, Lets see if the big weird looking cats left anything here for me."

And Finally we have Minka. We got him with Ableton. We found out that if we get one adult cat, we get another free. So of course, we had to. Minka is a bit funny. They told us that he is 2, but the vet and I both feel that he is much, much older. He has this weird obsession with water. he likes to watch it dripdrop from the tap. As soon as i go towards the bathroom, he comes running, and yells at me to turn the taps on. Minka Also loves the back of the couch. Im happy to see that he has become more social with Ableton and Bertil, as he initially just wasnt having it. I think that he was taken away as a kitten too early and doesnt have great social skills. But hes getting better! He isnt really photogenic (hes the one that blinks during the photos) and he really just sleeps on the back of the couch all of the time. so not too many photos of this guy.
