My cat has completely changed personalities this morning (normally really vocal, and he hasn't said anything today!), isn't eating/drinking anything.. or being responsive to anything.  I don't know what would have happened within a day, as he was fine just yesterday.  He's currently hiding in the dryer with some towels for cushion as he just layed in there with nothing before, and he doesn't seem to want to leave...

He's hiding, withdrawn (won't look either of us in the eye, and hides any chance he can..) his right eye he appears to be having a hard time keeping open, I looked for puss of any kind but they're fine. I also looked his pupils and they're normal and both the same size and dilating as they should be to the light.

Normally if you touch his stomach or his feet he freaks out and takes a nip at you,  but he just turns his head and looks away! When he jumped out of my arms when I was looking at his pupils and touching his body to see if he showed any signs of discomfort he just stood there and stared at the ground.

Really worried, and hoping all goes well with the vet tonight!!! Please keep my fur baby in your prayers, or let me know if you have any suggestions :(

Turns out Sparta has a bladder infection, and the vet figured he got it from the wet humidity in the house.. as he doesn't have any association with other animals, and he's an indoor cat.  He put pressure on my cats bladder and tried to get him to pee,  but he wouldn't go.. so he told me to keep a close watch on him, and ensure he has water all the time. Gave him two shots, and I have some amoxicillin and a syringe to give him 3ml 2x day...hopefully he doesn't give me a hard time, and spit it out :(

Urinary tract infections can be tied to diet and also can be triggered by stress.  Not all the time, but many times, these are the 2 catalysts.  If you're not already doing so, incorporate a larger amount of wet food , or go all wet food and try to keep the stress in you home to a minimum.

Great tips thanks! I am just feeding him dry food right now which the vet said to incorporate wet food or mash his dry food up with some water to keep him hydrated.
