My 14 years old Siamese was diagnosed with mammary cancer and my dilemma is should we have her undergo surgery or should we just let her live her maybe last months in peace. I am very worried about her chances to survive the surgery and also if the tumors will reappear later on even if the surgery is a success. Did anybody have any experience in such a situation, please help!

aww I am so sorry. I hope someone under similar circumstances can share their story with you. We faced a decision of open chest surgery which would involve removing the lining of the heart with our 10 yr old with no guarantee it would cure her from chylothorax ( leak in her chest wall). We didnt want to put her through something that invasive. 10 weeks go today we put her down but I feel at peace she didnt get to a point of suffering.

I have no experience with mammary cancer, but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you're going through this. Like MnM, I hope someone else can share their story with you, and I wish you and your kitty all the best. <3 <3
