According to the pics, which is a bit hard to tell on the second one, but they both look like girls to me.

SO much easier in person :)

I do think both girls though.

Cute names!

I'm sorry, but I just had to laugh when I saw all those little "rosebuds" .  I just felt mine up and when I felt two little round things, I knew I had a boy.

Mt two girls are a year apart and I actually didn't have them spayed until after they were sexually mature.  I used to actually get the giggles when they were in heat.  I know, it's warped.  But I digress, they got along just fine before and after.  I saw no difference.  And before anyone says anything, they were and are both inside cats and the two males that I had were neutered.  Although they were confused neutered males when the girls went into heat.

I'm not saying this doesn't happen ;) I just mean you stand a better chance of them getting on and being best buds, if they are brought up together and spayed before becoming sexually mature :D

Just to add on that, it's mostly because around the time of sexual maturity is when girls get their status on where they want to be in the home. They have like a ranking system.

It makes things go alot smoother BEFORE they are to that point of maturity.

Consider yourself pretty lucky when you have a pair of girls who continued to get along as well after going into heat cycles, etc.

Not all of them do. Girls are the boss cats usually, and often times they will ALL WANT that top position, not always, but very often.

That's when the disputes can start up.

Thanks everyone. Well "pumpkin" is now daisy [emoji]128522[/emoji] and daisy seems to be "boss" already even though they get on shes more bossy.

It cost more to spay girls than neuter the boys, you need to spay by 5 months so better start saving now if they are both girls.
It's only £35 each so no need to save up [emoji]128522[/emoji]

You got a two for one deal, it cost over $100 each for spay with stiches (no glue) in US
It's £49.50 at my vets but £35 if you get it done between 12 and 20 weeks [emoji]128522[/emoji]
