Hi! Im a 25 year old girl from Norway, living with my boyfriend going on 3 years in our own apartement, in a small town with the woods as the closest neighbor.  We were lonely in our new home, so we went to a local farm with kittens. He had three little girls. Two calico girls that was almost all white with calico on just the head (and yes these fluffballs were soooooo beautiful!!) and one all white little girl. Once we pulled up to the farm, the two calico girls fled the scene, but the little white one just kept playing with her back to us. We were told that he was just giving away the two calico girls, beacause he was going to kill the white one. We were mortified and asked white. He told us she was deaf, and why in the world would anyone own a deaf kitten. We took her of course home right away. We named her Aya and here is Aya in a  nutshell: She dos not do cuddling. Unless its in the middle of the night. On my pillow. And my head. She cant meow normally, so she either sound like a dove or like we tried to kill her. She gets unexpected zooms while attacing her own reflection in the balcony door. But she is a real beauty and the funnest cat I have ever owned. We are even teaching her sign languge!

About four month later, we notice she was starting to get bored, and since she is a indoor cat thats NOT fun. Or cute. Or quiet. So we went to a buddy of my Boyfriend. His cat, had 6 kittens. Two red tabby boys, two black boys, one grey and black striped boy, and one grey striped girl with a red/yellow spot on her head. She grwe up with just brothers, 5 of them. She was the only kitten in the litter to use the litterbox. She was quiet, and polite. But after owning her a couple of weeks we leared: she is a drama queen, squeeking as soon as we looked at her wrong. She eats, and eats, and eats more that her new big sister. 4 months older that her. She is also crazy. So the energy lever never went down. It went WAY up.

But we have never laughed so much in our entire life. They enterain us to the million and they are the best comfort after a bad day at work <3

Welcome to TCS. What beautiful cats you have, and what wonderful pictures you took of them. What is the name of Aya's little sister? They both sound like typical hyper-active young cats. Never boring around kittens!

Absolutely beautiful, both of them.  And what great stories.  Welcome to TCS--we look forward to more photos and stories about your sweet babies!

They're great, what beautiful kittens you have. I think lots of all-white cats turn out to be deaf, you're not alone.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about them.
