Hello all, my name is Julia Wirth and I've been a member of this forum for quite some time. I started out on this site with no cat, then my grandparents surprised me with a kitten from my local shelter after I started feeding an ole stray after awhile, my grandma knew he wasnt gonna come back, so she and my grandpa adopted Mitten - for five dollars! They were having a special! Best five bucks we ever spent! So, where am I talking about this Cat Cafe? Is it a cafe where you will eat cats? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Its where you can adopt cats, enjoy a cup of coffee, some delicious local recipies from Treasure Coast/Stuart Fl cooks, etc. Read books from local authors and websites such as amazon, enjoy free wifi, bring your kids to stop bugging you for a cat and sorta treat it like a petting zoo - so that'll socialize the cats - thats welcome to, as long as they're -gentle- im okay with that!
I have rules, ideas, and more! The estimated opening date for this project is either Winter 2015, Spring 2016 or at the LATEST (which I hope it doesnt turn out to be this way) Spring 2017. I hope to release this thing and open its doors on May 5th, 2016.... Hopefully...

If you have a novel you wish to publish (does not restrict to locals only!) and have no money, talk to ME/contact me and we can get a Patreon going for you and we can raise money, eventually spreading the word about your book, selling it in my Cafe!
Got artwork you want to appeal to people thats appropriate for the cafe? Why not show it off? Got other creative content such as sculptures or corchete, etc? Show it off, sell it! I only ask that maybe, possibly, 5-10% of the profits go towards helping the critter's shelter stay alfoat, though you MAY opt out of it if you WANT! (Music we play does not have to be commercialized it can be local artists as well!)
Children from elemetary schools nearby are going to be asked if they can paint on the walls before the building is furnished. A way to get the community involved!

Do not talk about cat club (joking, spread the word as much as you can!)
Don’t bring cats from home or the outside into the café.
Keep your inside voice! (Like a library or a school, please!)
Don’t pull on kitties tails!
Watch where you step! (Don’t step on a kitty!)
Walk – don’t run inside, please!
Parents and/or guardian MUST supervise children under twelve years of age. AT ALL TIMES.
Disinfect your hands at the sanitation station BEFORE coming in, petting the cats, and leaving. (Last, optional.)
You break it – you buy it! (Please be gentle with the items you touch, no grabbing or snatching, please!)
If you find a cat or kitten you wish to adopt, seek a volunteer with a NAMETAG on! He/she will help you!

What About Mixing Cats From Other Rescues? What if the organizations don’t approve?
Cattitude will rotate who gets to be in which spot, as each of these organizations listed has so many cats at each time they would LOVE a spot at the café!
How many cats will you have each ‘scheduling’?
Since the location I have in mind is a fairly large, hopefully 10 – 20 at a time.

Do you have a release date set yet?
Not an exact one as of right now, but we have estimations. Those are Winter of 2015, Spring of 2016, and at the LATEST would be Spring of 2017. If EVERYTHING goes according to planned ‘I hope it does’ then it should be opened by May 5th, 2016.
