Moist nuggets or dry food

Hey guys- Hope one of you can help me with this. My baby (7 mo) is having challenges with eating her food. I feed her twice per day and it seems to be really hard food. But this is really the only kind she has had, its like she will pick up one piece and shake it and then it will fly from her mouth and she will then eat it from the ground, it sometimes will fall from her mouth,

I was thinking that perhaps I could get them (I have 2 total bro and sis) the soft nuggets but I read in the health part of tcs not to have a diet just of the nuggets b/c of the softness would not be beneficial to them.

Thanks - Just let me know your comments and expirences.

How about addding a bit of broth to the food? I would also take your cat to the vet and have him look in the mouth to see if there is any problem brewing there, just to be safe.

Is your cat still teething? I agree with Hissy, have a vet rule out any teeth/mouth problems.

If that isn't the issue, maybe your cat is playing with her food. A hunting cat will shake its prey and pick it up and drop it several times to make sure it is dead.

It doesn't sound like she won't eat the dry food, just that she is having trouble eating it.
