Freshly spayed, asleep but blinking?

Is it normal for a cat to have their eyes open and be blinking while under anesthetic? We just got her back 2 hours ago and she's breathing fine and seeming well, she just looks hilarious and frightening at the same time haha and want to make sure she's okay.

Yep, some vets send them home still out of it like that. She'll be back to normal by tomorrow morning. I prefer to keep them in a carrier until they're fully awake or they might stumble into the water dish or fall down the stairs or something. In a few hours she'll be trying to stumble around so either keep an eye on her or put her somewhere safe like her carrier if you want to go to bed.
