Ok, Joey is bad. Really, really bad. This morning, I was in the bathroom drying my hair, and I hear a crash. So, out I go into the living room, and, from the evidence, he has been on the entertainment center. The stereo speaker is all askew, pictures knocked down, stuff everywhere. He has already made a clean getaway. I look everywhere for him, but he's gone. So, a few minutes later, I finally find him......Complete brat....on TOP of the antique-heirloom-over 7 ft. high- huggin' the ceiling grandfather clock.

Now this clock has been around his whole life. I ask you, what got into that cat's head to go up on the entertainment center and proceed to jump up on that clock?????

Did I happen to mention that he is now stuck up there? He is lterally scraping the ceiling, has nowhere to jump down to that isn't 8 ft straight down, and because he is a brat, he won't let me just grab him and lift him off.

So I am up on a step stool, trying to lure him with a treat - great, now he will think he has done something marvelous by going up there - no dice.

Finally, I get his little kitty couch, and hold it up to the edge of the clock so His Majesty can step down.

This cat is bad. b-a-d And after the entire affair, he just looks at me with his little retarded cat face.

No, I didn't capture any award-winning Caption This pics. And now I am having a bad hair day.

Bad cat. How is your day going?

Sorry for your morning, Deb, but my first response was HAHAHAHAH!
I have laughed myself silly over the mental image that I got of it.
'Course I shouldn't laugh too much, I discovered just before I left for work that somebody in my household did have a hairball. Stress on the "DID", because they no longer have it, its in the middle of my new, clean vinyl flooring in my back bedroom, waiting for me to clean it up, yuck. At least it will be cold when I get home, I cannot stand to clean up warm hairball.

Oh Deb! LOL Poor Joey - actually nothing poor about that cat at all. He is lucky you love him, others less concerned would have dumped him long ago! That is one place that the cats here are not allowed on, is the entertainment center. Any place else is fair game. It almost sounds like he was pursuing a bug of some sort?

There's no place like home
Sorry had to laugh....brings up mental pictures of Eightball jumping on the 7 foot tall secretaries desk to leap across to the hanging plant by the window, then getting stuck when he couldn't get thru the ropes that hold the plant up there, and watching him and the plant swinging back and forth like a pendulum......my footstool is always ready at hand.....

Bad kitty! Baaaadddddd!! Yup, good thing you love him like you do!

LOL

I can just picture that, too! It reminds me of the time JC was after a bug, climbed the curtains, balanced on top of the curtain rod, and then couldn't figure out how to get down (he was about 8 ft. up)!
