Anyone familiar with this product and is it a good probiotic for raw fed cat?

Made in USA.  Ingredients:  Calcium sufate, dried fermentation products of aspergillus oryzae var., Aspergillus niger var., Bacillus subtilus var., Trichodema longibrachiatum, pineapple, Bacillus coagulans.

Just wondering if it is a decent probiotic to add to my Charli's raw food.

Thank you!

Is it the Plant Enzymes & Probiotics product? I looked into this and decided against it because they use calcium sulfate as their "carrier" ingredient, which makes the amount of calcium in the product quite high. On their website they claim that there is 200 mg of calcium per gram of product. The dosage for cats is 1/4 teaspoon (which is 1 gram according to the label) once daily, so the cat would be getting an additional 200 mg of calcium per day. That just seems like an awful lot to me. That is much more than what is in most good feline multivitamins, usually 50 mg daily.

Are you looking for a combined enzyme and probiotic product? Or just mainly probiotics? I give my cats human grade probiotics - Renew Life and Dr. Mercola (for humans), but they're not palatable, so I have to pill them with it. Some TCS members use Nexabiotic (also human grade) and have had more success putting that in food.

I'm always on the hunt for products that don't contain a lot of fillers. I came across a product called Wholistic Pet Organics Digest All Plus that has both enzymes and probiotics. Here's the link to the product page: http://www.thewholisticpet.com/prod...gestive-support/feline-digest-all-plustm.html. I got the small size to try it out (mainly for the enzymes). The cats don't mind it in their food and there's no unnecessary fillers.

Thanks much. I did not know about all the calcium.  she does eat food with bone, so you're right, she doesn't need all that calcium.

I'll try the one you suggest.  Thanks!!
