Cold season is here.

Now the season has changed I was wondering how many people have gotten colds.?  As of today, I have been sick for 1 week but am going to the doctors Monday. I have a nasty cough, chest is tight, stuffed up nose and I'm wasting a lot of  toilet paper and tissues.

This may sound crazy but I was thinking about something crazy so I went on ASK.COM and typed in ; Can a cat catch a humans cold ? And of course the answer is no.

Yes I have had this cold for about 4 days now and have the same problems as you are having.  The worst part is not being able to taste and smell and I love to eat but now I have no appetite at all. 

I have been drinking tea with lemon and as much as I love coffee, right now I can't stand it since I can't taste it.  Sometimes later in the day I get my taste buds back and will eat a little something.  Hope you're feeling better soon.

I usually only get sick once a year, and this year that happened in September when a bug was going around.  I haven't seen many sick people around me, but the fluctuation of warm to cold days, or even the fluctuation within a single day is causing people problems.

It is flu shot season though - the store I work at had the pharmacy doing a flu shot clinic yesterday and they got an injection-certified pharmacist on shift for the clinic from 10-2. Of course, the entire week prior, everyone was coming in asking for flu shots before we had them or during a time when people had to wait. Now that they didn't have to wait during the clinic, the poor guy came in and gave 4 flu shots in the entire duration, offered them to staff, went on the intercom twice trying to get people there... As soon as he went home, the single pharmacist was stuck with a steady line up of people asking for flu shots!
