Dear Krash -

I miss your perfect face and your big green eyes. I miss you climbing in my lap and holding you for hours. I miss you yelling at everybody all the time. I miss you sleeping above my head and stealing my pillow. I miss you.

The two moments I will never forget are the second I saw you and my soul lit up, and the second you took your last breath and my soul left. I look for you in every cat I meet. And I haven't found you yet.

I can't believe today means you've been gone for a year. Now I'm just learning to live with the empty space that remains. The space that no living thing will ever be enough fill. I miss you every second, every day. I love you forever, Paw-Paw.

I am so sorry for your loss.. I know your void but also celebrate that you, like me, gave a kitty a life full of love that they may not have experienced.

It's a sad anniversary.

I just told my hubby today... I think because Min died on a Saturday... it's so easy to keep track each Saturday and I always wake up and say...today it's been _______weeks of being without Min. I think if it were on a weekday I wouldn't remember the weekly marker as much since I'm busier. Today marks 9 weeks.
Gosh I miss her cute, mischieveous personality.

We all will never forget the terrible, lonely days that follow the loss of our precious ones, no one but another cat person could ever understand. My sweet Chrissy died on a Saturday, almost two years ago, and I know I will shed some tears on that date that will be forever full of pain and heartache. The void they leave when they are gone is immense, but somehow we have to take hold of our lives again and try to find happiness in this world when we realize that they are safe and warm forever in our hearts. They filled our lives with happiness and joy, and teaching us how to love is a legacy they all left. They would all look down on us and purr if we loved another as we loved them, maybe not the same, that could never be, but with another part of our hearts that would open and bring joy back to us once again. My heart goes out to all the pain out there, comfort and prayers are all I can offer. The heavens have gained a multitude of beautiful angels and we have all gained  the wonder of a cat's love that can never be erased from our hearts and souls. Take care everyone out there who has ever loved and lost a cat, each and everyone of you will be blessed in any of your beliefs for loving so much to hurt so bad.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I remember when your kitty was so sick and how hard you tried to save him, you also knew when it was time.  It's hard to believe that it has been a year.  Of course knowing that you did everything that could be done doesn't make the loss any easier.
