Hello everyone!! I just found this site and am glad to have people to talk to about my obsessions with my furry babies!! I am married, no children, 4 cats----Curio is a female gray tiger, 11 1/2 yrs. old, Sabrina is a female black & white cat, about 6-7 years old as near as we can guess, Tigger is a female orange tiger, about 2 1/2 years old and DeeJay, our only boy kitty, he is black & white and is 1 1/2 years old. We lost Mandy, our brown tabby, at age 11 this past July---she threw a blood clot and lost the use of her back half---it was possible that she could recover but would have taken a great deal of assistance that we just could not provide with both of us working and me going to classes at night---and the vet was pretty sure that even then, she probably would not have improved as much as she would have needed to in order to have any kind of satisfying life, so we had to put her to sleep---broke my heart as she was our very first kitty. Anyway, like I said before, I am so glad to be here and to meet you all!!

I am so sorry you lost your baby "Mandy" . I know it is very hard to over come the grieve and will take a very long time to heal in your heart . But in time it will get better

It'll take time to heal but she will always be with you in your precious memories of her. You can be sure she is well and happy now and watching over you knowing you all did what was best for her.
