Disappearing household objects?

So I was wondering, does anyone have a specific household item that you can't seem to keep around. These are usually cheaper items, that you can easily replace- but that is very annoying when you can't find them! For me, it is scissors! They seem to grow invisible legs and walk away. I am absolutely convinced that scissors end up in the same vortex that socks from the dryer do! LOL

What grows legs and walks away in your house?

My car keys. I refuse to carry a purse so I also lose my license a lot too

My sons pacifiers tend to go missing. I actually know where all 3 of them are right now. surprisingly. Anything that goes missing in my house is usually due to my 2 year old taking it.

Aside from cat toys? LOL

For my BF, it's any and everything. Keys, wallet, train pass, etc.  He's awful at remembering to keep things in one specific place.  Every morning is a lesson in patience with him

For me, it's usually stuff in the kitchen that HE put away in the wrong place.  I can't tell you how many times in 6 years I've told him what goes where.  To no avail 

my camera. I use it so often, that I forget where I put it! this is why I have more than one so I always have one in handy.

Sharpies!  It makes no sense because we keep them out of our kid's reach; but whenever I go to ship a package I have to hunt them down!  

Row counters. I must have a dozen around the house, but can never find one when I need it.

Sharpies and the like disappear in our house too. Probably the same place Scissors and socks do. Sharpies- Maybe it is only S items LOL

Reading glasses!  One day I'll have plenty; the next day, I can't find any anywhere!
