Our cat, tripod, has a weird little pimple type thing on his upper belly closer to his arms. It sort of looked like it dimpled in, and my boyfriend described it as a "suction cup"
Upon squeezing it slightly, a weird little thing poked out of it. When my boyfriend squeezed the surrounding skin a bit more, Tripod couldn't even feel it, and this little grey slightly firm less than 1cm thing came out. Here is a link to the two images on my drop box. One of his skin after we squeezed it and one of the actual thing...

Also, we went to look again and we squeezed and the same thing poked out of the little hole again (the hole never popped like a pimple) but he meowed so we stopped. But that may have been out of annoyance..

We're taking him to the vet soon, but just wanted more info or experience from other people

Whatever came out of him

I also have the little thing in a ziplock bag in case the vet needs it.

Thanks :)

Hello and welcome to The Cat Site! :wavey:

It's been quite a few years, but I think my mother's cat had something similar it is was just a harmless cyst. I vaguely remember the vet pulling something like that out. Sorry I can't be of more help. I did google for pics and let me just advise that you not do that on an empty stomach. :nausea: :cringe: :lol3:

Good luck and let us know how you make out. :cross:

So , it turned out it WAS harmless. Yay! For anyone interested, it was an inverted nipple! So instead of the cells from the nipple rubbing off as flakes like normal, instead they accumulated right underneath and then when pushed out, look kinda gross!

So it has a small chance of infection, and technically she could use surgery to fix it, but of course we would rather just keep an eye on it and let it be.
