how to groom medium/short hair cat?

My tabby cat has medium/short thick hair and sheds
Like crazy his fur is all over my bed.

How do you comb a short thick haired cat properly?

I use the FURminator. It's more expensive than a regular brush/comb, but it does a dang good job.

I second the FURminator. It's great.

They make smaller sized brushes for cats. It does a fantastic job at pulling off excess fur. :clap:
