This is my kitty, Luna. We saved her from a home where she was being antagonized by the owner's other pets. We were told that to her knowledge, she had some Bengal in her. After doing some research, I'm not too convinced so I was wondering if I could get other people's opinions as to what they think she might be. I've never really spent time around cats with these types of markings so I'm really just intrigued because I'm so fascinated by hers. Any opinions are appreciated, thank you! I've posted some side pictures of her markings, a belly/tail picture, and a picture that shows these black tips on her ears which are getting more prominent as she's getting older. Thanks again!

Very beautiful shorthaired domestic, mackerel tabby.   Nay, no traces of any bengal.

He is the self salt of the earth, a "moggie".

Good luck!

Oops, did I wrote he?   SHE  I dod meant of course!   :)

Beautiful Luna :heart3:

Just look at the size of those paws ! She's got some growing to do yet it fit into those :lol3:

To be honest I don't really see any Bengal in her. ;) But she is one very stunning brown mackerel tabby - fantastic clear tabby markings and a lovely warm brown color too. ;) She is simply beautiful :D

Those black thumbprints on the back of her ears - that's part of the tabby markings, same as the M on her forehead. It's just that they show up more on your girl due to her having a really brilliant well defined tabby pattern. :catguy:

Thank you both for your responses! That's what I was starting to think after really looking into it but just wanted confirmation from others with more knowledge so that was really helpful :)
Also, thank you for appreciating her beauty! I'm so in love with my girl

OK so many people told me my cat was not a bangle but I really thought she was by her actions and stuff. When she sleeps she likes half her body to hang but there were other things to. But anyway I ended up doing some research and found out she was a bangle tabby mix probably what Luna is to. My cat was found in the woods when she was 5 weeks old along with the litter so she grew up and I still have her she had kittens and they all had bangle spots so thats why I did the research turns out the people were wrong she is a bangle tabby mix

I think she may be a bengal. Pretty enough for it.  Her spots arent the most fashionable, they arent rosettes, and thus, she wont win no big prized in the bengal class, even if she were allowed.

But I had seen on a cat show, there they had one purebred bengal with papers and all, whom cats rather moderater spots, no rosettes.  I dont expect he won anything, but he was allowed to participate.
