Should I buy this?

I found this while shopping the other day:

View media item 244188
I'm tempted to get this for my DD for either Christmas or her birthday.
She's been asking for a kitty (we are at our limit).  I have a feeling that little liter box would get on my nerves bit it's funny!  And cute.

She told me she doesn't want any Barbies for Christmas. She prefers the Disney Princesses; but I don't think she would be disappointed if I got her one anyway.

Yes it is nice!  I think they were starting to make more with brown hair when I was a kid; but they are even more diversified now from what I've seen.  It's also nice because if you have several dolls; they aren't all virtually the same.

Oh, definitely get it! You can't pass up a "cat lady Barbie".

Our nieces are between the ages of 21 and 33, so way past the Barbie stage, but Barbies were already somewhat diversified when the eldest was a kid.

Oh, I would get that in a heartbeat! (I wonder if my granddaughter would like something like that)

Cat lady Barbie

I like it.  Bratz were big when my kids were little.  Those stupid dolls with the feet that came off.  They caused quite the outrage b/c their clothing was quite risque.

I'm not all happy with Barbie's wardrobe myself!  If you want a less-expensive barbie you can get them clad only in a bikini and buy her clothing separate.

My BFF's DD gave DD one of her old barbies a couple years ago.  If you press her belly button her necklace, belly button and shoes flash.  The shoes are permanently attached; pink platform heels of course.  I have another name for them...
So far that's DD's only barbie.

My MIL's puppy chewed the feet on her Princess Belle doll; so I can use that as an excuse to get her this too right?

I still might.  I need another chance to do some shopping for them.  It looks like my mother is going to watch the kids tomorrow so DH and I can have some down time.  But it might be easier to shop without DH too.

Do you get the Mindware catalog? http://www.mindware.com

There is some very cool stuff in there.
Oooooh I could waste some time browsing that site!!
Since we've started homeschooling I'm ALL into finding manipulatives and educational things!!

What about a Furby?
I forgot about those.  I don't know that DD has seen them before.  We don't have cable TV so I'm spared a lot of commercial marketing.  Her cousins or friends may have one; but she's never mentioned it to me.

I think I am about done shopping for DD.  Or I at least know what else I'm going to get.  I'm doing her Birthday shopping at the same time; since toy deals are going on now.  I think I am going to hold off on the Barbie unless a relative sends me money to buy her something.  My Grandfather occasionally does.  And if not; well I won't have to worry about that sand being spilled on the carpet!
