I found this site that has come to be like a guiding light to me about what to look for in cat food that is not good for them:

www.naturalnews.com/report_pet_food_ingredients_8.html

Anyway, based on this, I looked up the wet foods that had the least of those ingredients:

Redbarn (salt), Great Life (better than most and a good price in comparison, too, but doesn't specify which D3 supplement),

nulo (salt), Instinct (salt), Evangers (controversial company), Halo vigor or Impulse (salt. Quinoa, maybe), ziwipeak (expensive),

wysong canned beef stew (source of D3 vitamin). I don't know why I don't trust the 95% meat varieties of Wysong and Evangers.

I am not a nutrition expert, but for what's worth I hope it helps somebody that has the same dilemma.

Cheers!

I think the problem is that the active part of the link only partially covers the URL. If you copy and paste the entire URL it is a valid link.

I remember this web page. I wouldn't put too much authority in it. Although some of what it says is true, it also lists water as a horrible ingredient for cat food.
