I have a female sphynx cat that has always loved toy mice, she has literally about 50 of them scatterd around the house. What's funny is she will hunt down a toy mouse and then either sit on the stairs or by my feet and meow endlessly, she will only stop when I walk over and aknowledge her this will usually take me picking her up (if I don't she will jump on me and she's a pretty big cat) and let her rub on me for a few minutes. She will keep meowing at me really loudly almost as if she's angry demanding I pet her and tell her "Good Job, Good Girl". She usually keeps doing this until she has found all the mice in the house and collected them in one pile, I am expected to do the same praising ritual for every one she catches. I have tried ignoring her before until it was too much to bare and I gave up, it will literally not stop until I get up and do this. Her sister started doing this as well but she likes the bigger toys and does not demand as much attention just me saying "Good Job" even from another room is enough.

It does not bother me really because the first one is very independent and a diva, she only likes me and I find it cute when she gets all needy and demands attention. They will not do this when I'm sleeping either but I wake up most days with a huge pile of toys on my bed.

I guess I should be thankful she doesn't go outside and make a pile of dead animals on my bed, but I'm really curious as to what this might be, what does it mean and why does she not just play and move on like most cats? She also has one specific white mouse that is already torn up and disgusting that is her favorite, we have a few of the same kind and color but she likea this tore up one the most for no apperant reason!

They sound amazing, bringing you presents lol, I'd be glad if my cat (adopted stray) would take an interest in toys as she's so inactive, she sleeps eats and has the occasional stroll about and that's it! It sounds like yours are just carrying out their natural instincts by hunting and bring their kills back home!

It's normal cat behavior - they're natural hunters, and your cat just has a preference for life-like mice toys.  Nothing to worry about.
