What about your landlord? It sounds horrible, but perhaps if you point out that there's going to be a horrible odor problem if the cat dies (and therefore action will have to be taken anyway), he or she will do something.

Pest removal guy got him out but he got out of the noose and bolted. He's nosing around my yard and I have a trap set. Forgotten Cats will take him and check him out when we catch him. He has a clipped ear so he's been fixed. Thx for ur help Forgotten Cats were the only rescue that called me back.None in Delaware!!

I'm so glad you got someone to help you and that he's out!
I'm sure he's very hungry, so it might help to leave food in the trap. I hope you can get him soon and that he checks out okay at the clinic.

I'm glad Forgotten Cats got back to you (they are headquartered in Delaware). They are usually pretty responsive and do great work. Unfortunately, they are hurting financially due to increased expenses, so I'm doing my best to spread the word so that they can continue to do what they do. THOUSANDS of cats have been TNRed and adopted out because of them.

Yeah I'm doing my best to catch the poor baby I did a spay release for a feral colony down state and ended up catching a few skunks, raccoons and squirrels along with the cats so I'm hoping that doesn't happen here! A mad skunk is never good. And Forgotten Cats isdefinitely on my donation list O:-)

There was no way I was leaving the poor thing there even if I had to rent a jack hammer and demolish the steps myself!!

Just catching up with this thread now.

Great news, so glad the cat got out. The fact that he has already been TNR'd makes things a lot easier. I hope he sticks around if there is food and water available for him.

Lucky Cat! A new home and a new name as well.

Thanks for the update. (I'd love to see some photos too.)
