Hi Everyone!
I'm new to this board & thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a new kitty owner. I didn't plan for it though. I happened to hear a 'moan' outside my window & glanced outside... there was this helpless little kitten just laying there. If I hadn't heard it moan, I would've thought it was... gone. Anyhow, I rushed him to my dog's veterinarian, where they ran a couple tests, gave him some fluids & now I'm a new kitty owner! Here's a picture of him from the day I found him:

Anyways, I'm hoping to get lots of help... cuz I'd like to provide a good life for Smokey
Oh yeah, I also have a miniature wire-haired dachshund, a rabbit, and 2 horses.

Welcome! Bless you for taking in and caring for this little wee one, he is so cute. The rest of your furrfamily, small and large, sounds cute too. Can't wait to see more pics.

Welcome to the site! Smokey is just darling!!!! What a beautiful little face. I'm so glad you not only took him in and cared for him in his hour of need, but also want to give him a wonderful life.
That alone tells me that he will indeed have a happy and loving home forever.

This is a great place to get advice. Please don't hesitate to ask questions, no matter how "novice" you think you sound. We were all first-time cat owners at some point.
There are some very knowledgable people here and we will help in any way we can.
