Help concerned and very confused about what is going on with my mama cat.

My mama had 2 kittens about a month ago.  she seemed still large after the birth, but felt her tummy and no noticable lumps or masses that i could feel.  She started eating, drinking, and using the liter box without any issues after birth. she has been in the house and with her kittens since their birth--- so, not possible that she was impregnated again since the kittens were born.

Today, she started meowing loudly and looking for me as she did when in labor. when i pet her side i felt hard mass below her ribs similar size as kittens felt prior to birth a month ago. she is very affectionate as she has been when in labor and keeps coming to me looking at me like wanting my help.

She has been still nursing the kittens, but has seperated far more often today than she has.

We have very limited funds and honestly cant afford to take her in to vet or would have taken her already.

has anyone heard of this before? or have advice what i should do or watch for?

oh, forgot to mention i checked and she is not running any fever at this time.

Yes,  its very possible with two parallell different liiters.  Not that commons but it does happens.  My ex neighbour has one cat from such a second litter, born 3 weeks after the first.

All were healthy.

Holding thumbs!

Good luck!   @WorriedaboutMa

Like StefanZ said, it is very possible. My queen had three babies. One of them was quite smaller than the others. I knew he was premature and we had to fight to keep him alive. He had to have separate time with momma because the others wouldn't let him nurse. That was the only reason we had to fight though. He is now the biggest kitten and definitely hogs most of the food lol.Can you feel the mas moving at all?
