I bought 2 cases of the turkey and 1 case of duck at Chewys. They ate the duck yesterday and today gave them the turkey. 2 wouldnt touch it.  3 ate most of it. The other 2 didnt finish it all.  Im so sick after just buying 2 cases online. they wont eat it. Its about one of the only brands they would eat before.  I want to give them some canned food every day. But its getting more expensive and harder to do when they wont eat any of it.  I have been mixing their dry with water to make sure they are getting more moisture in their diet.  I am at a loss.  Maybe its a phase because i dont think they cared much for the sheba like they did when i first bought it.

I dont know what to do when they wont eat their afternoon meal :(

Won't Chewy's take it back if your cat's don't like it?  (probably isn't worth it to pay for S & H)  Otherwise you can donate it to a shelter and take a tax write off.  The shelter cats would probably be thrilled.  OR, if they like the duck, try just mixing a little of the turkey  into the duck and see what happens...see if you can get them to eat it that way.

BTW, my cats love Nutro Turkey CHUNKY Loaf, but do NOT like the soft loaf.  It's beyond me why, but that's the way it is with them....goofballs

yes , they definitely will allow returns but you have to pay return shipping and it is quite expensive cause the post office or ups will go by weight ..

I'll keep it. As some will eat it. Thats interesting about the soft loaf vs chunky. My cats had the chunky in the past. i thought they had eaten the soft loaf. i will have to remember that.
I can feed it to the others, but of course my picky cats get left out. I have been trying to feed them better quality. And grain free. Things were going good. then i bought new cases. They turned their nose up at the new case of Cowboy cookout. Merrick said they only changed the label. But the 2 picky cats wont touch it. Hopefully I can mix the duck with it. Ive got 45 cans of this and cant afford to donate it.

Mix the 2 together. Mine don't like turkey in any form and only like the chunky chicken loaf in nutro natural choice! It is pate but the recipe is different (no carageenan)

Hopefully you can use it up .. I cannot buy more than a week at a time because my cats are very fickle . So far they like the FF Classic Liver & Chicken .. Today I gave them each a can of Nutro Natural Choice Chunky Turkey Loaf  and they loved it , ate the whole thing . I did have to mix in a little of their kibble which they are crazy about but I don't mind ..

If you got the duck pate, they should like it, mine do!

A local pet store would probably take cans of the loaf back in exchange for the chunky loaf.
Well i looked back. As i have been keeping the label of the kinds they do like. And they ate the pate turkey before. So must be something about this batch. A few will eat it. So i will just use it for them. And or mix it with somehting else to get them to eat it.
