Preventing hairballs

Hi to all

We have some concern with our 2 ex-feral ,long haired kittens getting hairballs.

We were using the Temptation hairball product until we read owners comments and

reviews relating to to possible toxicity of the product,even leading to death.

We have had a suggestion of using coconut oil and a product called Vets Best hairball .

We have always found it best to try and get this sites opinion on these types of questions and

hope that we will get lots of feedback so that we can take the best course of action with our kittens.

The best preventative is pro-active brushing and lots of it!

We do brush the kittens all the time--but they are ex -feral and while they do enjoy some brushing,they wont stay still enough for intense grooming.
