Hello from Alis Mama

I wanted to say how much I appreciate you all here.

I also wanted to let you all know a bit more about me, hubby and Ali.

I am 66 year old Mother, Granny and great Granny, and hubby is 67 and has dementia.

We got Ali after our old love Fuzzy died at the age of 14 from feline cancer.

She was there months old when we gt her from an ad in the newspaper, and she was a skinny, dull coated girl.

She went right tot hubby and stayed with him ever since.

She was full of fleas and ear mites and thank goodness she got in to see our vet the same day we got her.

From the minute we took her home she began putting hubby to bed and cuddling him when the dementia episodes hit.

He is also an insulin dependent diabetic, with three open heart surgeries and severe lung problems.

The first time he was sound asleep and started having trouble breathing she came running to me meowing loading and running to him.

She saved his life by getting me into where he was to help him.

She is almost 5 years old now and is our angel.
