Hello, I have been trying to find out how this breed is called for some time now. Fiirst i thought it might be russian blue but it is not (i think). I dont have experience relating cat breeds, and i would really like a cat like the one in the video. I hope some one could help me.

Thank you!

MOD NOTE:   We need to point out that alcohol is poisonous to cats and should never be given to them, no matter how much they seem to like it.

As for the breed... this cat looks like a Scottish Fold.

I'm not sure about the cat in the picture, but I think Eva is dancing with a Russian Blue.

Cat nr 2 I think he is a British Blue.  Not the most typical of them, but still a BR.

He is somewhat similiar to cat nr 1  Scottish Fold, but its no coincidence.   Btw, nr has ears just slightly folded.  They looks sometimes like thrashed pieces of rags.   Mostly they are somewhere in between our nr 1 and these poor thrashed piece of rag...

Scottish Folds brother breed are Scottish Straigh.  They are similiar and near akin, but with healhy, standing ears. They are both nearby related to British Blue.  Usually not fully so rounded bear-alike.

Scottish fold in double dose is lethal for the embryos.  So Scottish fold must be outcrossed with non carriers.  They use either Scottish Straigh OR British Blue.

And thus, BBlue are often corsed into these Scottish breeds.

Evas cat may be a RB, but I suspect he is a Korat.   Korats are typically a trifle more stocky than RB, more visible muscled.  But its often difficult to see which is a young Korat, and which is a RB.   As I think its the case here.

Looking a while in good light at the face from forward, you can see the difference:  The RB tends to be triangular with the base up.  The Korat is more heart shaped. Or even some say, double heart shaped.

Anyways, an avesome breed them too!

Yes, although the blue is probably the most typical color, but many colors are allowed.

Sorry, I was somewhat unclear.

Korats are always blue.

Russian Blue are also always blue, as the name tells.     For a puritan,  Russians are always blue. The only exceptions are those who are born pointed from russian parents, which are pointed russians but they arent used for further breeding. They got thoruouhgly  neutered and used as loved pets.  They get born now and then, because once upon a time, 60 years ago,  they used some blue pointed siameses to broaden the pool gene.

That is for us puritans.

More frivolous persons try to breed forward other colors too.  So white, black  russians are fairly established in Australia.  I have heard about other versions too, even tabby russians...  Which is of course just ridicolous.  (/while the black and also the white, may be quite beautiful)

There are also some polish breeders who try to create a Pointed Russians.  The idea isnt so bad, but their approach is totally wrong:  they call their new breed for Archangelsk.  Which is the old name for Russian Blue...

If they called them for Murmansk, another city at the White see,  for one example, they would get both my approval and even active support.

I agree with others, I suspect the first of the cats is probably a Scottish Fold due to the small, forward tilted ears.  The second cat looks to be a British Blue with the wider face and more solid appearance.  I have always thought the cat in the Sheba commercial to be a Russian Blue as the movement and muscling look very like my Mouse's in his fitter, less lazy cat days.  The fur looks a little thicker and less flat than most Korat though I could be wrong.
