I don't know what thread this belong in- if it's in the wrong place, please feel free as a mod to move it- but I need an answer

I bought a $500 tent to got camping a couple of weeeks ago, and we ended up coming home in the rain-so I pitched the tent in the back yard to dry out. I  went out to put it away and it was wet on the corner-kind of musky. So I pitched it back up and went out an hour later and sure enough wet again. I'm sure the strays are spraying it. What do I do?? I don't want my new tent ruined!

What material is the tent made of? I am not sure how much damage cat spray can do but a good wash with soap and water or even cleaning it with Nature's Miracle can do the job.

When stuff I leave outside gets sprayed or peed by strays, a good cleaning and Nature's Miracle is good enough. As a matter of fact, the stuff is not sprayed again.

I don't know, Nylon or canvas?  I know it's a good one and the rain didn't seep through, even though we woke up in a puddle...but I'm not a huge camper, so not too familiar with the gear lol.

I'll give it a good wash down and let it dry out tomorrow, and hope they don't spray again before I can pack it away
