This is my 19 year old cat who got put to sleep 31st july 2014 i had him from a kitten e followed me everywhere and seen me through some big life events. He was great but sadly old age took its toll and he suffered with liver failure and i knew and he knew it was his time. I held him as he fell asleep in my arms. I was utterly heartbroken. I swore i wouldnt get another cat. As the days and weeks went on I felt lost without a cat and knew there would be a cat out there who needed love and a home and i could give the love i had for max to another kitty and im sure he was sent to me by max. Barry the kitten was born the day i had my dear max put to sleep. Its weird he opens his paws up for me to tickle between his toes exactly how max did. Once a person has a cat they always need cats around.

I'm so sorry for you loss :rbheart: Max was one beautiful cat, I love his little white toes and he looks so content with eyes full of love. Max knew he was loved, and I believe he did send Barry into your life. It was fate.

:rbheart: RIP beautiful Max :rbheart: You are very deeply missed :rbheart: Run free at Rainbow bridge beautiful boy :rbheart:

What a beautiful boy your Max was - I love the way he has his toes stretched in that photo. My condolences on your loss. It's really tough to part with our beloved fur babies, even when we know that it's simply a matter of their time having run out due to age. RIP, Max.:rbheart:

I'm so very sorry for your loss, Max was a treasured friend and companion that will be greatly missed and never forgotten. I'm so glad you wrote us about Max and your new love, Barry, who I'm sure is a great comfort to you. Sometimes we need a new love to help repair the hole in our hearts from the loss of our other. Max left a wonderful legacy of teaching you to love and to be able to share that legacy with a new love would bring him joy. Our babies would never want us to be so sad and to dwell on their passing, they want us to celebrate the love we shared with them. I wish you well, give that sweet Barry a kiss from me, and take care........RIP beautiful Max!

So glad to hear you have another little guy to fill your days with joy and happiness. I am a strong believer of adopting after a loss. So to hear of Max's passing but unfortunately death is part of our life and by the looks of it you cared and pampered Max as I'm sure you will Barry.
