My husband and I recently adopted two young adult kitties from our local humane society. We have had them going on three weeks now and they are my pride & joy. I fell in love with Cinder ( the black one ) and my hubby wanted Leo (the tabby) they happened to be BFF's so we brought them both home. Cinder is such a character! He is incredibly soft spoken, he has the quietest purr, softest paws, and it very gentle when playing. He talks to me every morning and LOVES food. Leo is a spunky little guy he is either 100% ready to play or 100% ready for love & snuggles! I have never had a cat who can purr as loud as Leo. Needless to say I am head over heals for both of these boys. I am unashamed to be a "crazy cat lady" and am here to learn and share with other cat enthusiasts!

I have been pleasantly surprised how quickly they are adjusting, it is so much fun seeing their personalities emerge! [emoji]128512[/emoji]

They were allowed to roam the floor with other adult cats during the day & formed a bond. They were not caged together, in fact we were told Cinder broke out of his cage once to be closer to Leo. [emoji]128512[/emoji] Cinder is three, Leo is 9 months!

Too adorable!    Yep, looks like Cinder is telling little boy Leo he needs to clean up a bit.
How cute, I think she must have adopted him at the shelter.   It is a beautiful story and wonderful that you have managed to keep them together.  Welcome to TCS.

Congratulations on making Photo of the week #20, I agree with Ane,  it is a great picture or Cinder.

Yes we feel very fortunate to have both these sweet boys, Cinder was to be sent to a humane society in another county to be adopted because of his sketchy previous owners.. How wonderful to have Cinder featured, he is flattered I'm sure [emoji]128516[/emoji] here is one more of his silly pictures!
