I just saw this on an Aby blog: http://abyaday.wordpress.com/2014/1...xtra-medical-pet-shirts-from-the-netherlands/ Apparently there's a medical t shirt that pets can wear instead of a cone / e collar. The t shirt kind of looks like a baby onesie. Here's the link to the product web site: http://www.medicalpetshirts.com/index.php/en/medical-pet-shirts-en

I think this is a great product
It's a more comfortable way to keep a cat from licking at stitches, hot spots, etc. One problem is that the shirt completely covers the back end. I don't think anyone wants to or has the time to follow a cat to the litter box and unsnap the back of the shirt before the cat "goes"

What do you think of this product?

Hey I bought one of those a few days ago for my spayed kitten :) nope it's not closed at the backside, it has an opening for the cat to use the litterbox without any problems at all( it goes around the backside of her back legs and up above the base of the tail ) :)

Just be sure to get the correct size for your cat :) and if she kind of starts walking funny then just snap one of the buttons at the back and not both. With the two snaped, my kitten started wallking weirdly but with one she walks fine now :) they're amuch better alternative to the e collar and she does not even try to lick it
