Hello all I'm after some advice; my 16 month old kitty seems to be splitting the sides of her pads, not the base but along the side.
They don't noticably bleed but there is fired blood between her toes stuck to the fur.
She doesn't have problems walking neither does she lick or fuss her pads more that any other cat.
She's terrible with letting me get near her paws so taking pics so far have not been successful.
Today I've noticed the actual pad seems to be peeling, almost like sun burn in humans. But the pad itself is not looking sore (my other cats get this when they've been out in the cold).
kitten doesn't go out much and I can not say when she is doing the damage.
Any advice on how to prevent this??
If I can get pictures I will [emoji]128515[/emoji]

Keeping her inside may help, but its unclear what's causing this exactly.
