Hi! I'm new here and still somewhat new to cat ownership. Or more like being owned by my cats[emoji]128521[/emoji][emoji]9786[/emoji]️
We started off with rescuing midnight(our classic blue tabby) from the humane society back in January. I never wanted to live with cats, but having a dog just wasn't going to work living on a small lot in the middle of the city. He won my heart over in no time[emoji]128525[/emoji]
Since then we have moved out to a farm. And with farm life comes many stray cats. Only a week after moving in a completely starved little calico come to my front door. Of course I just had to feed her and she was so darling. I thought she was just a kitten because she was so small. But it was only a few days later when a male showed up and I figured out what was going on. Daddy was only around for a week and then vanished. And our new little girl began to grow. I didn't want her kittens to be farel like all the other cats around here, so I brought mama into my breezeway close to delivery.
She had six beautiful kittens. All spoken for right away. Of course I couldn't help but to keep two myself.:lol3:
And that's where we are now. The vet estimates mama(peaches) to be about two years old. Midnight is also two. And kitties are exactly 9wks today[emoji]128522[/emoji] That's our story, and I look forward to learning as much here as I can!
Pictures are of midnight, my original cat.Hazelnut and cashew, my kittens. And peaches, the mama[emoji]128522[/emoji]
