Our 8 year-old male cat (named Fuzzy) is leaking dime-sized spots of urine wherever he sits. Just over 2 weeks ago, Fuzzy had his 4th surgery to remove calcium oxalate bladder stones. The first 3 surgeries went beautifully with fast recoveries. This 4th one -- not so much. He had a large stone in his urethra that did not show on X-rays at our vet's or at the vet specialists' to whom our vet referred us. The vet specialists catheterized him for 48 hours, and the stone popped out when they removed the catheter. This was 5 days ago. He is urinating on his own, with frequent trips to the box. He is taking Buprenorphine for pain and Prazosin for urethral spasms. He went through quite a trauma, I know, and is still healing. Has anyone else's kitty experienced similar leaking? Did your kitty heal on his own, or did you need to seek further treatment? Thank you!
