Adorable! I know people can find it problematic to have cats on desks because they get in the way and whatnot, so the solution is to put a basket or shallow box near or on the desk and that becomes the new "cat spot".

Because both my boyfriend and I have expensive and sensitive computer peripheral and hardware on our desks, along with beverages and occasional bowls and plates, our desks and any table-like surfaces are designated cat-free areas.

Kismet had a bad habit of waltzing around on my boyfriend's desk whenever we went out, and he's lazy and careless so often times he had a mug half full of coffee sitting between one of his four monitors and his gaming keyboard and mouse set. I'm hoping he's learned better (that she won't stop, knowing she can do it when we're gone) ever since he almost lost use of that $100 mechanical gaming keyboard due to yet another coffee spill.

Mine like to lay on my computer table, especially Sugar.  Whether I am sitting there or not. However, if I am sitting there, Sugar loves to 'help' me type by walking on the keyboard and my hands.

I read every morning when I first get up and Burt jumps right up there and plops onto my book, every morning without fail. I always pet and kiss him first, then I gently move him to the side and he always reaches out with his paw, 'hooks' my hand  and drags it to where he can lay his head on it. It's adorable, but my hand always goes to sleep after 10 minutes or so, then I have to move him again and it starts all over. If I put him a blanket or bed down, he ignores it and lays as close to me and my book as he can, believe me I've tried. I just can't say no to that sweet face!

So true.  We've tried little baskets on the desk, but Max always leaves them to lie right next to the warm computer.  Guess he's a "heat seeking" cat :)

So cute!  Guess we just have to treasure these little "irritations," knowing that one day these furry pals won't be with us. . .

hahaha mine does that too!

And my late Candy was the WORST!

She wouldn't stop she would literally plop herself onto the keyboard and wouldn't want to get off until I would get mad and lock her out of the room until I was done what I needed to do!
