Hi! I'm Brooke, and I'm so excited to become a part of this cat loving community! I am going to school to be a veterinarian, however I just started my first year of college so I have a lot to learn! I have a cat named Camilla. 2 years ago my boyfriend asked me if I wanted an orange kitten (I've always wanted one, since I was little) because his friend had a stray one running around.... And the neighbors boy around 8 years old was having lots of fun torturing her. Pulling her fur, shoving her into tight spaces that she couldn't fit into... So cruel. So I said yes of course I will take her!
I was nervous because they told me she was skittish, and I've never dealt with that before. So I researched it, but surprisingly she loved me from the beginning! She would eat her wet food and some snuggle with me, purring the whole time. I was pleasantly surprised! She is still scared of strangers, but only men. Although she learned to love my boyfriend almost as much as she loves me. Also, she is part bobcat! She doesn't have a stubby tail, but her brother from a different litter (same mother) is also part bobcat. She's got the fur sticking up on the top of her ears, which I hear is a bobcat trait.
Anyway, soon I am taking on another skittish kitten named Baby, who was attacked by a dog and the woman who found her can't keep her. So I will be taking her once I get a job (I'm trying so hard!). I'll include a Picture of Baby when I get her!
I look forward to interacting with all of you! [emoji]128568[/emoji]
