Hi everyone :wavey:

Today's question is -

Do your cat's have a favourite toy ?

My lot will pretty much play with anything.
A firm favourite is definitely the Da Bird :D Also they seem to prefer any toy with feathers ;)

Last weekend I brought them a pop up cat tent - this is the current favourite. It's apparently great for ambushing when another cat or human walks past. :lol3: They also get inside it and roll it all around the house.

Mine would be straws. I like to prop a straw on my rug and watch him wrestle with it. Next time I want to try taping the straw upright so it won't fall over.

Otherwise he likes wand toys, but lose interest quickly.

Cocoa will play with a lot of things but there's one item she adores (and it's the one she loses most).  It's a pink plastic ball, that when rolled around has a voice in it that says "here kitty kitty!" and chirps, and other stuff.  Gosh she just goes nutty for it.  That and sparkle balls.  She never tires of those.

Casper is older and harder to get motivated to play now.  He's a box lover - we keep several around of varying sizes mostly for his amusement.  He even runs into one as his "spot" when he's a bit naughty lol.

Both my indoor cats LOVE the Kickaroo, that long stuffed toy that gets their back paws going. I always wince thinking it would really hurt if it was alive! I keep it in a bag with catnip sprinkled in and bring it out when I leave them alone for a few hours. They never fail to attack!

Mooch still loves fetch with either a mylar ball or a milk ring.

Lately Noodles is into attacking a cat bed we have.  Seriously.  She'll get in it and do a little diggy dancy move.  It was in the closet for a few years and held some toys; so it might smell like catnip.  I'm not sure; but it gets her all frisky.

Mollipop has a large pink furry mousie that she loves to play with as well as a large red furry ball that she loves. I always find the ball in bed when I come home from work.

These were taken when Molli was about a year old or so:

Tabby has little meeces that she loves. She used to have a small pink meece (called Pinky) and she played with it forever. One night, Rick and I were sitting at the kitchen table eating dinner. Tabby jumped up on the table with Pinky in her mouth, walked between the dishes on the table, sat down in the center between Rick and me....and dropped Pinky on the table for us. Then she started to purr. Honestly, it was so sweet.  We picked Pinky up, thanked Tabby profusely and told her what a good girl she was, and dropped Pinky back on the table. Tabby picked Pinky back up, jumped off the table and started batting Pinky down the steps to the front door. We lost Pinky a few months ago (not that it really mattered as she was getting quite furless and looking pretty ragged). Fortunately, I threw some new meeces on the floor and Tabby found Little Red and Blackie, so she's OK. She will spend hours yelling at the meeces, then throwing them down the steps, only to run after them,  and yell some more.

I could tell the moment that Tabby found Little Red and Blackie. Tabby walked into the living room and I swear I heard this "HA!" And she started yelling. And I knew she had found the meeces.

Everybody loves Da Bird, even the old kids, Boo and Pepe. And they all love to play with the laser light, too. I have found that I cannot sit on the couch with my Nook until the kids have had their fill of the laser light. If they don't get to play for a while, Tabby will sit on the floor right in front of me and stare at me. I know exactly what she wants, so I try to ignore her. So then, she'll hop on the arm of the couch and stare. When that doesn't work, she'll jump to the back of the couch and put her front paws on my shoulder. She'll inch her way down on me so that she can turn her head and stare right at my face! That works and I get the light out for about 20 minutes or so. All six of the cats will play for a while.

A loose plastic cap from the end of a wand toy (this comes first, and the wand comes third or fourth), then Sproket straws, then laser pointer, then MAYBE wand toys unless they found some other piece of garbage on the floor and realized it bounced well.

Miss Purdy's favorite is anything small and alive mice, moles, chipmunks, small birds, baby bunnies. I do not let her out anymore.
Frodo loves catnip and then a treat, it gives him the munchies like pot![emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128062[/emoji][emoji]128571[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji]

The latest favourite thing is a baked beef tendon which gets dragged all over the house, bitten, kicked, and chewed. They've gnawed an entire side off it. They've been playing with it for a week now.
