so my kitten of six months has gotten extremely sick for the second time in the past two months. the first time he was very lethargic and cried often, but it did not seem as though he had eaten anything he shouldnt have because there was no diarrhea or vomiting. my father and i force fed him pedialyte and he recovered within 2-3 days.

this time he isnt crying, but hes vomiting bile and i keep finding strands of bright orange diarrhea stuck to him. we are trying the pedialyte just to make sure he stays hydrated but it is clear there is a larger problem here. ive made a vet appointment for him in the morning tomorrow, but i am hoping someone else can help me before then.
it might just be coincidence, but both times he got sick right after his mother went into heat. ive yet to separate them, so from time to time ill still see him nursing. i was wondering if maybe theres a chemical released in her milk before she goes into heat? if anyone knows if something like that is true.
any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think his mother's milk would cause issues as serious as this.  I see that your post was a few hours ago.  Do you have any updates?  Have you been able to get into the vet?  I would take him into an emergency vet if he has all of these symptoms.

Could he need worming? Aren't you getting momma fixed?
