Cat disorientated walking backwards

Last night, Athena, my 2 year old cat woke up and started chatter and walking clumsy and backwards. Se was disorientated and sat down and was ok after a moment. She crawled back into my lap and was happy. I thought she had a nightmare. This morning while we were both hanging out in the garden, she started stumbling backwards and hit the fence and started rolling. I was thinking maybe ear mites or fleas. But I don't know. I can't take her to the vet till friday. I spent my emergency pet fund on putting my elderly dog down. Now I'm worried sick.

How's Athena doing?  I don't have any experience with anything like this.  Sure hope your vet has some answers for you on Friday.

Yes, please let us know how she is doing, it sure could be an inner ear problem, or could be mild seizures. Plaese let us know, I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.
