I have seen a few posts on here about people trying to find a canned food that is "BPA free." Apparently it is a chemical found in the lining of cans, but what risks does it pose to cats? Does anyone know if the Wellness cans contain BPA, specifically the sliced varieties?

Here is a link about it http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-l...ealthy-eating/expert-answers/bpa/faq-20058331   It's a concern for people as well.  Because of the publicity about it more and more manufacturers have quit using products in their can linings that contain it.  I don't know which brands are BPA free.  I would think, since being BPA free is good advertising, it would be on their website if their cans are BPA free.  I haven't looked at their website so it could be on there.

I found this website that lists pet foods that are supposed to be BPA free  http://truthaboutpetfood.com/which-pet-foods-have-bpa-free-cans/    According to the list their 3 and 5.5 ounce cans are BPA free, their large cans contain BPA.  I noticed some others are the same, I guess it's harder to make the larger cans BPA free.

I only feed my cats the 3 ounce cans, so that is good news!
