I was initially excited to see the pate as mine won't eat anything else. I tried both the rabbit and the quail. Neither of them liked it. Not even with a bit of fish pate topper. Both have had rabbit before, but not quail. Remaining cans in a bag to go to the local animal shelter.

Does yours like the Natures Pride rabbit?   Mine likes the Pride but I saw the Halo today which was cheaper and I liked to change brands once and awhile

My cat likes Nature's Variety Instinct Rabbit. I have never tried Halo with her, though. I don't think I will either.

Nature's Pride is not available in my area. She did like NV Rabbit for awhile, but either they changed their formula or there was a bad batch. It put her off, and she won't touch it anymore. I try every couple of weeks, but she walks away from it.

I bought the halo impulse quail & greens and both my cats ate it all. They did NOT like regular Halo spots stew! I also bought the rabbit & greens and will try it tomorrow. It got a best cat food rating on natural cat website for 2016.

My 3 cats didn't like NV Instinct Pride rockstar rabbit. Two of them will mostly only eat pate wet food so it was too chunky for their taste. The 3rd cat isn't ask picky about texture, but he wouldn't eat it either. All 3 like Halo's Impulse rabbit with garden greens. It's a little dense for a pate, but I add a few tablespoons of water to it and they like it that way. Actually, I add a little water to all their food anyway. They like the quail, guinea hen, and chicken/egg flavors too.

I also never bought any of Halo's Spots Stews because the 2 cats won't eat morsels or shredded wet food. I've bought Spots Pates in the chicken, turkey, and salmon flavors and they like those as well.

I would have considered Halo's rabbit if it didn't have chicken in it - seems to defeat the purpose of having a novel protein mixed with a protein that can be hyperallergenic, at least, with my cats who can't have chicken.

The Guinea fowl has turkey not chicken, you could try that, on sale at Chewy $1 a 5.5 oz can

Thanks. I tried the guinea fowl for a few days and she became very itchy - possibly the natural flavors, who knows what that is but more often than not it's msg.

I noticed there are a lot of chicken ingredients, I try to avoid is feeding chicken or any other animal protein every day.  Prefer limited ingredient varieties.
