I was busy all morning and out for a few hours. It's 2:30 PM and I just heard scratching out in the hallway. I opened my husbands closet door and who is in there but Kitty! He was apparently stuck in the closet since about 8:30 this morning! It is a 2 door sliding closet so at least it isn't super small.

He is so quiet, my husband must have just closed the closet door.

I am hoping he is not too traumatized! He is head butting me like crazy. I am hoping he slept most of the time in there!!!

Pooooooooooor Kitty!!!!

Oh poor baby. I am sure he is just fine.

That would never happen in my house for too long. Loki would scream at the top of his lungs and he can scream!!! *lol*

He seems fine, and there are no 'accidents' in the closet.

He is happily sleeping on his new perch that I got him for on top of my computer monitor.

I am glad you found him. Awhile back when the workman were here installing the doors to the new addition, one of the heavy doors (braced on a wooden frame) fell over. Because it was so heavy, the workmen just left it alone. I started hearing faint meowing when they left and I couldn't for the life of me locate who was in trouble. After about 10 minutes, I traced the sound to the door that had fallen over! When we both lifted it up, Kahuna was underneath! He had been there for about 2 hours!
He had one small scrape on his leg and he spent the entire night cuddled next to me shaking. I felt so bad that he had to be trapped like that. All the cats hide when the workmen would come, but he was unfortunate enough to get trapped. At least he didn't get seriously injured!

Thank goodness he was OK!!

One of my friends' cat would always run into the fridge anytime she opened the door. She was careful to always make sure to check for him, but was running late one morning, half asleep, and you guessed it - one cat stuck in the fridge. Luckily, she only had to run out for a very short time, and her cat was fine. Everything in the fridge had been pushed over, tasted, or moved - on all of the shelves.

And of course, the very next time she opened the refrigerator door, the cat jumped right in.

Em did that once. I was sitting there and I would hear him let out a little "meow" and I couldn't find him. Then when in my bedroom looking for him I heard a scratch at the closet door and there he was. He wasn't in there as long as your kitten.
